How to Use
- Place the WCP coir pellets in a tray. Water gently with lukewarm water to expand the pellets.
1 pellet will take app. 30 ml. of water. After app.3 - 5 minutes the pellets should be expanded. The coco substrate will be kept in shape by the thin net
- Pour off all excess water carefully.
- Can see the seedling hole on the top of the
pellet slightly, add one or more seeds and cover lightly with the substrate of the pellet. Seedlings or cuttings should be planted by using a dibble.
- Place them in a bright and warm location such as on the windowsill.
As soon as the seed has germinated lift the cover. Keep the coir pellets moist during germination, but avoid moisture build-up as this could rot the roots.
- When the roots are growing through the net, transplant the coir pellets into a larger container or directly in the garden. Water in advance.
Important :
The coir pellet and its very thin net are essential parts of the root ball. Please do not try to separate the net – this will damage the roots. This net is a biodegradable net.
